Handball Mysterybox was founded by us, Oliver and Thor.
Thor has had a close relationship with handball his entire life, having played handball in both Germany and the USA. Oliver entered the world of handball through the idea of Handball Mysterybox, where his fascination with the clubs, jerseys, and culture quickly grew.
Today, we share the same vision.
Connect the World of Handball
We want to help handball fans explore new and unique clubs, discover different handball cultures, and get closer to the sport – even outside the biggest leagues and most famous teams.
We believe that every club has its own history, identity, and tradition. That story deserves to be told.
The idea stems from Thor's experiences with handball abroad.
Through handball, he experienced how the sport can bring people together across borders, languages, and cultures. It's not just about the biggest clubs and tournaments, but also about local clubs with proud traditions, passionate volunteers, and fans who live and breathe for their club.
This became the foundation for Handball Mysterybox.
Through authentic player jerseys, we want to spark curiosity and inspire handball fans to explore new clubs, leagues, and handball cultures that they might otherwise never have discovered.
Thor is responsible for contact with clubs, development, finance, and sales. He holds a master's degree in financial management and works diligently to ensure the company develops on a solid financial foundation. At the same time, he helps foster strong collaborations and drive the company's continued growth.
Oliver is responsible for the webshop, warehouse, IT/systems, and daily operations. With a background as an engineer in global business systems, he continuously works on optimizing processes and creating the best possible experience – from order to delivery.
Handball Mysterybox is not a large, anonymous webshop.
We collaborate with the clubs, select the jerseys, pack each Mysterybox, and answer all inquiries from our customers.
This means we have control over the entire process – from the initial contact with the club until the Mysterybox arrives at the customer's doorstep.
For us, it's about more than just the jersey in the box.
It's about giving handball fans the opportunity to explore new clubs, experience different handball cultures, and discover the stories behind clubs they might otherwise never have known.
